This was around the time I've read someplace that Caslor or Hinton were working for a studio that the NFB subcontracted some work to such as on this film. Hinton and Caslor also contributed to several vignettes produced around the time that focused on Manitoba's history such as "Spence's Republic", "Lady Francis Simpson" and "Fort Prince of Wales".
