All the Great operas in Ten Minutes, Kim Thompson, 1992

Since most of us learned everything we know about opera from cartoons anyway.

Achoo Mr. Kerooschev, Stan Vanderbeek,1960

Le Western, Jean-Charles Meunier, 1972

Dots are funny.

Our Lady of the Sphere, Larry Jordan, 1969

Great film from Larry Jordan.

The Merry Circus, Jiri Trnka, 1951

Known for his puppet animation, here Jiri Trnka uses cut paper, for a lovely, painterly short film.

In two parts.

Labyrinth, Jan Lenica, 1963

Incredible film by Polish artist and animator Jan Lenica,in two parts. Lenica is often thought to have influenced the style of Terry Gilliam. I get the feeling that Lenica was influenced by Harry Smith, perhaps.
