Most would usually credit Howard Beckerman instead given his involvement in both story and animation on this production, but perhaps Culhane had two cents to spare too. This was during a time he wanted to change directions the studio went from how a director should operate from before, whereas they were simply supervisors and usually the main animator on a cartoon acted as the director anyway (back in the Seymour Kneitel days).
Hmm, perhaps I should change it? I generally list the person credited as director; it seems the most prudent way to consistently give propers to the person most involved in the process of making the film.
