Manhag (Eat Everything, Eat Yourself) Paul Hamilton and Hamm Williams, 2006
Usually I find animation, but sometimes, it finds me. In this case, user freakyoffspring left this as a comment on one of my crummy videos, and I fell madly in love with it.
(This is my crummy video. Don't watch it.)

Food Fight, Stefan Nadelman, 2008
The animator describes this short thus:
An abridged history of American-centric warfare, from WWII to present day, told through the foods of the countries in conflict.
His site, Tourist Pictures has a scene by scene breakdown of all the battles depicted.
You will also be pleased to note that he and his dog consumed all the food portrayed in this film.

Gumbasia, Art Clokey, 1953, plus lots of Gumby and Pokey
Yesterday the world lost a great animator. Art Clokey, stop motion pioneer best known as the creator of Gumby and Pokey, died at the age of 88. We can only hope that in our lives we bring so much happiness to so many. RIP.
In his honor, I'm posting several Gumby shorts for us all to enjoy.
