Gisele Kerozene, Jan Kounen, 1993

This may not look like a cartoon, per se, but the stop motion animation is quite sophisticated and well done, which you may notice when you stop laughing.

    EXCELLENT. Saw this at a festival in Amsterdam
    many years ago, couldn't remember what it was,
    still love it.

    I saw it at a festival, too, and practically fell out of my seat. Seeing it on a big screen was aces.
